Garage Floor Epoxy Coverage

Garage floor epoxy is sold by the kit, and each kit covers a stated area for a single coat. The number of kits a floor needs follows from the floor area, how many coats go on, and a waste allowance for the porous concrete that drinks the first coat. This calculator works out the kit count.

Area times coats

The floor area is length times width, and the total area the epoxy has to cover is that area multiplied by the number of coats, since each coat covers the whole floor:
